Dear Sirs,

X.4342S

Starter Motor for Goshawk II.
------------------------------

We are in receipt of your letter of the 13th inst., reference ACL/MK on above. We note your remarks regarding the size of starter motor. However, we wish to try the small motor, as we cannot conveniently accomodate the larger one you mention. We should therefore be glad if you would proceed with the SS {S. Smith} starter, and await particulars asked for in our letter - DA {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} /THR1/CB5-5-21 of the 9th inst. With reference to model 4D dynamo, the drawings you sent appear to be what we require, and we are proceeding with same on the lines already mentioned.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED.
