re. Chassis No. GHO-11. T.J.Rowley.Esq.
( Tech. 25/30-HP Zenith Carburetters.)

Since writing our Br/G26/M.15-7-38 on the subject of Carburetters, we have received this car, with a request to remedy poor petrol consumption, viz. 9-MPG. To make the Customer happy, we exchanged the carburetter for a fully modernised one. The original carburetter has been dealt with to Depot Sheet Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}350 - by you in Sept last.

From a recent experience with Zeniths' they intimated that in such cases, the body of the carburetter is scrap as far as they are concerned, which means that the one on our hands, should now have a new body fitted, to restore it to standard.

Shall be arrange with the Makers to deal with it on these lines ? Please let us hear from you, also in regard to the future, as it seems that we are likely to get a number of cars with similar features. Perhaps you will also confirm disposal of the charges involved.

[Handwritten]: Bodies can be plugged. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Hkb. Br/G.260
