(6) The .937" steering was only run approximately 100 miles.

(7) No bumping tests have been made, but as it is only an alteration in the pitch, one would not anticipate it should be any weaker.

(8) We have had no experience with the new support. We hope to have one fitted in two or three days.

(9) From experimental tests so far the best results have been obtained from the same strength on both chassis. As regards the Phantom, we are satisfied that the setting arranged gives the best all round results. In the case of the 20 HP., as we have not the same restrictions as regards high speed wobbles, we may be able to make slight modifications but if this is done it only means altering the small spring in the valve.

(10) The shock dampers have run 10,000 miles on the 20 HP., 150 hrs. on the bumping test, and several thousand miles on the Phantom. Standardisation sheets have been issued.

(11) A standardisation sheet has been issued for the 20 HP. low pressure tyres and well base rims. These have been run altogether approximately 30,000 miles. The Phantom wheels and tyres have been run in France, they are also fitted to the next car which is going out there on test.
