In line with the experience of other manufacturers we feel sure that you will find this oil an exceptionally fine lubricant and shall look forward with considerable interest to hearing your opinion in regard to it. As instructed by you we have written to the Vacuum Oil Co. S.A.F., Paris, advising them of your requirements of Mobiloil "D" for the high speed road tests you will be carrying out there. We have asked them to get into touch with Mr. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Hancock at Chateauroux, and to render all possible service to that gentleman. We take pleasure in giving you hereunder our further comments in connection with the other matters discussed with you by Mr. Sharp:- Rear Axle Lubrication. For rear axles having hypoid drives we recommend Mobiloil "EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}" which has been specially produced to meet their requirements and which has already been approved after extensive tests by the Gleason Gear Co. of U.S.A. In view of your desire to test this lubricant, as arranged we have already forwarded to you three gallon tins, and if you require a further quantity, we should be happy to supply it upon hearing from you.
