As the central brake is to be given up shortly, it does not seem desirable to make any changes, unless it is intended to fit them to all cars as they come in for repairs. This is not this main adjustment but that for the stop which the shoe rests on when in an off position. I understand that especially with our decreased leverage this adjustment is only needed to be made very occasionally say every five or ten times the self-locking "on" adjustment is made.
