Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Major Searight.

We are sending to you under separate cover, a means of fixing the K.S. telegauge head, that we have been using on our cars.

We have not attempted to make another head mask casting to make a job of the scheme, but think that what we have done may give you something to work on as it appears to hold the head satisfactorily and is easier to fix than the original scheme.

The one disadvantage appears to be that the nut from the air lines has to be disconnected before the spring can be ~~taken~~ got into position and vice versa, but we do not think that this is of much importance.

If you will let us have a gauge with this idea incorporated in a sound manner or alternatively, something which you yourself have evolved, we will take the ...ity of running it on our next 10,000 miles car whic... start from DERBY in about three weeks.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
