PAULIN CAR.

Before the Paulin car returns to France, we suggest that Eyston does an officially timed run on it on Brooklands.

The run could be of any desired duration.

We believe that this bit of publicity would cost practically nothing and, owing to Eyston's name, and the fact that it was carried out in England, be far more effective than the recent French 'Write-up'.

Whilst we appreciate that Lagondas may, for financial reasons, be less formidable competitors than previously, we have the impression in this part of the world that many people who can afford expensive cars, but are not fanatical motoring enthusiasts, are taking an interest in 3½-litre Jaguars and Humber Super Snipes, because from casual trial it is not apparent that the Bentley is such an immeasurably better car.

We should like to prevent such people buying cheap cars before the B.V. is put on the market.

Eyston has expressed his willingness to help us at any time to the best of his ability.
