Summary of the position on Bentley 'S' Special Parts being prepared for a long distance run.

Bentley 'S' Special Parts.

All the parts made or partly made for the long distance run, should be collected together and kept for future requirements.

The only special work (apart from engine unit) at present in hand is a 33 gall. petrol tank.

The following is a summary of the position -

Petrol Tank.

33 gall. tank existing.
D.O. now scheming suitable brackets and filler.
With regard to the suggested 48 gall. tank for distance attempts, nothing is yet made, but the quick filling caps are on order.
NOTE. in view of the rear door being hinged from the TOP, access to filler of the 48 gall. tank will be a serious difficulty.

Fuel Supply and Piping.

Nothing made, scheme not yet decided on or approved.

Engine Oil Float feed.

Float chamber ordered and is being prepared.

Oil tank on dash.

Already made.

Clutch.

Extra 10% B. & B. with white springs being fitted to unit B.19 (re-numbered L9BC) also two plates with RAD.11 in stock.

Hartfords.

Most of the parts for the front already exist, but with regard to the rear, it will be necessary to
