Dear Sirs, We beg to acknowledge receipt of your favour of the 29th inst., and in reply would state that it is our intention to use this new type lightened instrument for all four instruments, as now being supplied to you, i.e.:- 20/25 H.P. Speedometer. 40/50 H.P. " Bentley " Bentley Rev-Clock. We would, however, point out that the production of further hand-made samples would be a very expensive procedure, and we are wondering whether your tests on the present Bentley size of instruments could not be sufficient to cover all three cars? Quite definitely we can bring the new lay-out in for all your models the only difference would be the larger size of instrument on the Bentley. We should have to build-up these sample smaller instruments from zero and they could cost at least £20. each. Might we suggest that, if your tests are turning out satisfactory on the present pair, after we got into Production first with the large size Bentley instruments, we could then bring through a sample each of the two smaller ones? | ||
