Captain S.B. Wilks,
The Rover Motor Co.Ltd.,
COVENTRY.

Dear Capt. Wilks,

I am arranging to let you have another dozen tappets.

A fellow was here to-day trying to sell us the rubber clutch centre which you are at present fitting to your cars. Can you tell me of any advantages which this has over the spring damped clutch centre used by Borg & Beck, Terraplane, etc. Our experience with rubber in this connection has always been that if it is to have a reasonable life one cannot get sufficient damping.

Yours sincerely,
