(1621) 9th August, 1941. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.1/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Messrs. Wilmot-Breeden Ltd., Eastern Works, Camden Street, BIRMINGHAM. 1. Attention of Mr.Spicer. Dear Mr. Spicer, We are sending you herewith, the luggage compartment door hinge, No. RB.{R. Bowen}16005 and RB.{R. Bowen}16006. We thought that by sending it to you, it would give you an opportunity of looking it over and so be in a better position to discuss the manufacture of it when you come on Wednesday. Regarding the front ventilating window. As you know, we have not made any drawings of this yet, and before doing so, if you could let us know any modifications that you would like made to make it a production job, we should like to know what they are, so that they can be embodied in the drawing. I have mentioned this as possibly you might like to go into the matter with the people concerned before you come over. Did you make the hinges for the lid{A. J. Lidsey} of the glove box on the 2-litre Daimler? You will probably remember making the die-cast catch, but I cannot remember whether you made the hinges. If you did, could you bring a sample along with you on Wednesday?. Kind regards, Yours sincerely, | ||
