X1627 X3129 X 2512 RE PRODUCTION TESTING OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. X.3445 Referring to your memo Bn{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}24/W29919, the position in the Production Department to the above is as follows:- (1) Push Button Switch. (2) Main Switch. (3) Starter Motor. (4) Actuating Box. The last two items were started on definitely to-day and no more of any of the above parts will be sent through to EFC department for testing purposes. The position with regard to the remainder of the items is as follows:- (1) Condenser. We shall taken over the testing of the Condensers as soon as EFC, can supply us with the transformer coil he is having wound for this service. At the same time it was arranged that EFC, should hand over his Milli-ammeter, and that on our part we will arrange for the new instrument to be handed over to him when it arrives. (2) Ignition Coil & Ballast Resistance. In order to start definitely on this unit we are awaiting delivery of a volt meter reading from 1 to 15 volts in 10ths of a volt. We have offered to do the testing at once, if EFC, can lend us his volt meter which reads as required, but he prefers to carry on with the Ignition coil testing until we obtain delivery of our own volt meter. I have taken up this question with Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}, and the O.O. and expect to hear something definite about same in a few days. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
