Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter dated March 4th, and have been interested with your remarks. You will have now received our order for 9 bellows to Ex.10836. This bellows is used in a unit especially designed to compress the bellows. The drawing has been made from your sample bellows. Where the free length of the bellows is .600" the compression length should be approx. .450". We did not know how you proposed to secure the larger diameter end piece to the bellows. Having now received your bellows to F.100773, we find that our guess was not correct. We leave the question entirely in your hands as to the best method of attaching the bellows to the end piece.

We should like to mention that we are pleased with the finished appearance of the 8 bellows you have sent us and only hope that your price for supplying these in quantities will compare favourably with other manufacturers.

Can you give us any idea as to the maximum pressure we can use inside the bellows?

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
