RE 7.EX. FOR MR. ROYCE .

Many thanks for you several notes keeping me posted up with the progress of this and other bodies. Due to the strange circumstances of life here I have been unable to arouse sufficient interest in the cars to be allowed to spend the time in attending their progress. However great excitement is likely should the car not be perfect and ready by about Saturday.

Mr.Hives has completed the work which he wished to do and Barkers received it back on Monday morning. He complained of the following.

(1) Plenty of body rattles.

(2) The hood cover flaps against the doors and windows.

(3) The cork floor is not edged.

(4) there is no back light to the hood.

I would be extremely glad if you could arrange for someone to try the car as soon as they have finished the final varnish just to make certain that there are no snags . I shall not be able to get up until I come to fetch it away, which I hope will be on Friday or Saturday of this week. I have conveyed this information to Major Dingwall by Phone.

When I am up I will also pass off the 20. HP. cab. de ville and the Hooper Limousine 9. Pk.

With apologies for troubling you .
