14th. June 1929.
Dear Sirs,
We thank you for your kind order 90979 calling for 6 of each non-return valves G.53803 and 53802 to the latest drawings and as requested we have destroyed the previous drawing of these parts.
When the writer spoke to Mr. Gaye on the 'phone this morning he was under the impression that the nipples we had already made would be usable if the new internal fitting was fitted instead of the original type. We find, however, on further looking into the job that the position of the cross hole and certain other dimensions are slightly modified and we shall therefore have to make the parts out complete, and as they are a Toolroom job we are afraid it will be the end of next week before we can complete your kind order.
Yours faithfully,
BENTON & STONE LTD.,

Director.
