SHOCK ABSORBERS

In acknowledging our Order No.14565 for a further 6 sets of Type 306 Single Shock Absorbers for 40/50 HP. Continental Chassis, Messrs. T.B.Andre & Co.Ltd state:

"We would, however, like to point out that we consider "this shock absorber very much over-loaded on your car, and "although the results obtained when they are first fitted "are satisfactory, they very quickly lose their adjustment.

"We would strongly recommend the Multiplex type in "preference to the single type, as we have found from tests "we have made on high powered cars, such as the 8-cyl.Delage, "etc., that the Multiplex type over a period gives infinitely "better results."

As they are particularly anxious to supply a Shock Absorber which would give no trouble, they are offering the Multiplex type at a figure only £1. 0. 0d more than that we are paying for the single type, or with telecontrol £3. 0. 0d extra. per set of 4.

It may be Andres are unaware of the fact that we are fitting these Shock Absorbers in conjunction with our own; although, as they are closely in touch with Conduit Street, possibly they should be aware of it.
