Dear Sir,

We beg to thank you for your letter of the 4th inst., contents of which we have noted. Mr. Newman states that he will guarantee a speed of 70 miles per hour on the actual car which you tried, and is of the opinion that either the speedometer was incorrect, or the car was badly driven.
