Dear Sirs, -: For the attention of Mr.E.W.Hives :- Adcol New Process Motor Oil. We are much obliged to you for your letter of the 9th., inst., We note that the trials were satisfactory that you conducted in France on our Oils, but there was not sufficient evidence to show you superiority. As you have no reason, at the moment, for wishing to change your standard recommendation would it not be possible for you to add our name to your present recommendation, and so give your customers an option of taking our Oils, and have a possibility of obtaining it more readily with the double choice. This would in no way make any definite change, and would only mean the alteration when your new Books are published. We shall be glad to hear from you on this point. Yours faithfully, FOR ALEXANDER DUCKHAM & COMPANY LTD. All offers and contracts subject to the usual exemptions from delivery in the event of strikes, lock-outs, wars, or accidents (present or future) or any other cause over which we have no control, and also to advance in railway rates and to acceptance by return of Post unless otherwise stated. Interest at 1% over bank rate will be charged on overdue accounts. All prices subject to advance without notice. | ||
