Dear Robotham,

Many thanks for the particulars of your test on Chromium Plating.

To start with we got inconsistent results, but subsequently found out how to plate and finish our bores in such a way that we are now entirely free from seizure.

I do not think that seizure is basically due to the chromium becoming detached, although of course this happens as soon as the seizing takes place.
