X1091 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW. 20th August, 1936. Capt. Wilks, Managing Director, The Rover Motor Co.Ltd., Coventry. Dear Capt. Wilks, Many thanks for your information re frames. Mr. Elliott and myself will be very pleased to accept your invitation to lunch to-morrow, Friday the 21st inst. We realise that both you and your brother will be very busy, so we will arrive about 12.30 p.m. and leave immediately after lunch. Talking of frames with cruciform members, we have just got a full size frame from America which is absolutely the best they have been able to do up to date. Certainly for its weight it is far more rigid than anything which has previously been produced. Possibly your brother will have time to come over and have a look at it in the immediate future. Yours sincerely, | ||
