The following conditions apply to the temperature readings for 9 G.III on the 26th inst.

Three mile stretch - level road - full throttle - Following wind - max. water temp. 87°C. air 19°C.

With head wind - max. water temp. 84°C. air temp. 17°C.

The buffer clearances on the front road springs of chassis 9 G.III, are :

O.S. 2 1/16" A.S. 1 7/8".

We beg to confirm your wire, reading :-

" Twenty horse power to return to Derby when "
" ten thousand miles completed stop Cave Harvey "
" Bagley Day return with car Hancock will "
" arrive Tuesday midday - Hives "

The 10,000 miles will be completed to-morrow midday, all being well.

We have requested Paris depot to do the necessary re the clearance of the car from Boulogne-sur-mer. We presume that the General Transport Co. on your side are making arrangements concerning the landing ticket.

We should leave Chateauroux on Monday, and will wire you later when we expect to reach Derby.
