V5860 Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Alb.1/Grn.25.6.25. To: "HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" From: E.G.Bagley. Chassis 9 G.III. The under-mentioned conditions were observed in taking temperature readings, for the above chassis, as reported on 24.6.25. :- Three mile stretch - full throttle - following wind. Max. water temp. 87°C. Air temp. 19°C. Three mile stretch - full throttle - head wind. Max. water temp. 83°C. Air temp. 17°C. With reference to your letter of the 22nd Inst., re fan boom, there is a slight boom from the fan at high speeds. We have verified this, by removing the fan belt, but the boom is not noticeable when driving. It is only apparent when the car is stationary, and the engine is raced up. We consider the fan good for booms and vibrations. E.G.Bagley. | ||
