STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS.
Description of Parts. DUNLOP SUPER DOUBLE LIFT JACK.
Origin. A modification of the present Dunlop Super Double Lift Jack embodying improvements to parts which were unreliable. The actual design unaltered.
Experimental Test Report. This jack has been utilised to lift the whole of the front of a P.II car throughout its range of lift 25 times. Also to lift one side of the front from a flat tyre level to inflated level 25 times. After these tests the jack was in excellent condition.

Remarks Column Text: One would have thought the test would have been 250 times. The Dunlop Jack for balloon tyres - a sample seen in Derby - had a very short bearing for the overhung bevel pinion, which bearing looked as if would soon wear. We suggest bearing 50% longer.
