-2- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}9/JH.27.1.38. obtaining a higher output at 13.volts being to alter the adjustment of the existing standard unit. If this is correct, and it is decided to take advantage of the special adjustment we should have to alter our test specification accordingly. Our present specification calls for the following - Output at 13.0 volts. Cold 14.0 to 16.5 amperes. Hot 15.0 to 18.5 amperes. Output at 15.0 volts. Cold 1.0 to 7.5 amperes. Hot 3.5 to 10.5 amperes. It is suggested that we alter it to the following :- Output at 13.0 volts. Cold 15 to 17.5 amperes. Hot 16.5 to 20.0 amperes. Output at 15.0 volts. Cold 3.0 to 8.5 amperes. Hot 6.0 to 13.5 amperes. The above figures would of course be subject to adjustment, as the result of experience from dealing with quantities. We should be glad to hear whether you agree with these figures, and would be prepared to work to them. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD: | ||
