2nd Sept., 1937.

A.{Mr Adams} Taub, Esq.,
Vauxhall Motors Ltd.,
Luton, BEDS:

Dear Taub,

Thank you very much for your letter of Sept. 1st.

Charlie Chayne told me that Buicks had got some good results for 1938, but for obvious reasons did not tell me how.

However, I was sufficiently interested to order one of their 1938 cars just as soon as we can get hold of it.

I am going away for a fortnight's holiday on Saturday, but shall hope to come to Luton when I get back. Incidentally, you promised to come to Derby. What about arranging a visit before the end of September? We should like you to stay at the Directors' House at Duffield. When you come over we could show you concrete evidence of our bearing results. Incidentally, we could run this bushing on a thickness of 50 thou., so that I believe you should be able to try some on your truck connecting rod without a major modification.

Yours sincerely,
