Single Cylinder Work - High Power Head.

Investigate whether power loss is appreciable with negative overlap.

If we can get decent power with no overlap, it is a feather in the cap of the high power unit.

Observe carefully whether, by the appearance of carbon on the mouth of the cyl. barrel, any distortion is taking place in this cylinder.

Also measure the oil consumption as opportunity occurs and see how it compares with the standard Bentley unit.
