SPRINGING THE 43-KR CAR.

This car arrived in Derby Friday afternoon and has been tried by us. Unfortunately both Mr.Olley and Mr.Southern had left Derby for Paris.

We are proceeding with the job, but we consider it is essential that we get Mr.Olley and Mr.Southern to agree that the car is similar to the Springfield made Phantoms as regards springing before we return it to you.

It is very probable that we shall not have completed this job by Thursday as arranged.

We should like to keep the car until some definite conclusions are arrived at. If you wish, we could arrange to let you have an SS.{S. Smith} experimental car whilst this car is at Derby.

Will you please let us know what you would like us to do.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
