X3806. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}5/MA. March 8th, 1932. Messrs. Luvax Ltd., Larden Road, Acton. London, W.3. For the attention of Mr. Douglas. Dear Sir, The diagrams of the hydraulic dampers you showed me are obtained in the following manner. The oil pressure is obtained direct from the cylinder to the steam pressure gauge, the length of the diagram is the relative stroke of the piston arranged by levers. The high and low pressures are separate diagrams and are obtained by connecting to either end of the cylinder. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
