Dear Sirs,
Referring to your communication of the 2nd instant, your pistons have duly arrived, and we are proceeding with the regrinding to our No.12 form.
We are presuming that you do not require the major axis interfered with and we are arranging the regrinding accordingly.
We are tin-coating them and returning them together with the set of standard Bentley pistons, tin-coated as requested.
With regard to the Ferrox process, we are still without precise information as to what the process is, but our agents are contacting with the Perfect Circle people with a view to obtaining the necessary details.
At the present time, however, the problem of ring scuffing is being approached by two distinct lines of attack, which are quite the opposite of each other in principal.
The one is this Surface Change by means of Oxidation or some such kindred process which results in a thin amorphous layer, which is permitted to break down, by whose particles are so small in relation to the
