For the attention of Mr.C.H. Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

We are today despatching six of our T slot pistons which we should like you to grind to your No.12 cam. The pistons have previously been ground by you to your No.10 cam, but we find of course that No.12 cam suits our condition better.

Weshould also like you to tin-plate the pistons after grinding.

Will you also supply us with a set of standard Bentley pistons, also tin-plated, at the same time.

With regard to rings, can you supply any information relating to the new process by Perfect Circle (i.e) Ferroc treatment. Have you had any experience with it and what do you think of their claims, and what exactly is the process. Do you think there is anything to be gained from the treatment?

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
