To BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. " " EH. ORIGINAL. R1/G6/5/19. RE LOUVRES ON RADIATOR. It is understood that for the near future we use the combination of a set of hand operated louvres from the dash on the front of the radiator, combined with a thermometer fixed on the dash for all cars, until such time that we have thoroughly satisfied ourselves that a thermostat operated louvres are desirable and necessary, and that we have proved our design for such an apparatus to be a success. We cannot look forward to this for under about 12 months, so that our policy for perhaps this year and next year, will be the combination suggested above. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
