To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from EFC.

EFC2/T4.5.29.

S.S. PRESS BUTTON STARTER SWITCH.

We have received your E1/M2.5.29. The matter is being looked into and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will be writing on the subject. It was our impression, however, that a greater percentage of the force would be the total force required to operate the four contacts together so that even if the spring were made very feeble it would still require a good pressure for satisfactory contact on all contacts.
