It was arranged that W. and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would compile a chart so that direct comparisons can be made of all the existing chassis and proposed chassis in all their suggested combinations giving wheelbase, body space, bore, stroke, capacity, maximum speed, etc.

Item 8 on Agenda. "Peregrine" generally.

Not discussed. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has already been informed of the position.

Item 9 on Agenda. Servo Brake Thumps and Dashpots.

He. said that we were veering round toward direct braking. "Peregrine" has certain new features and the results of trials on these may affect future design.

Item 10 on Agenda. Radiator and Wing Movement.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} reported that there is no change and the position is as before.

Item 11 on Agenda. Steering generally.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that the Cadillac steering had arrived and was in the Experimental Dept. He also reported that a similar type of steering can be obtained in this country and one of these is being obtained to fit to a car for trial.

Item 12 on Agenda. Gurney Second Gear Position.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said that R.{Sir Henry Royce} agreed in principle, and that the new P.II. gearbox with improved reverse gear will have a constant mesh second speed gear also. He proposes to take the car to which it will be fitted down to W.H. for R's trial and inspection on completion.

Item 13 on Agenda. Position re increased braking on Front Wheels.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} stated that the braking on 58-GH is improved since alteration. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said standardisation sheets would be prepared and issued.

Item 14 on Agenda. Reported later in these Minutes.

Item 15 on Agenda. Sump Draining Improvements, referred to in Z4/H.40.S.32. Will they come along for 20/25's and P.II's ?

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} said that the improvements can be applied to 20/25
