ORIGINAL. To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (Held up). C. to SS.{S. Smith} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to F.{Mr Friese} D3. C. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/MJ.1.4.30. (7772) PHANTOM II LEFT-HAND CHASSIS. 24-EX. We have tested the left-hand chassis on the road and it performs very well. The running is equal to the right-hand car, and the new features such as the gear-box, all perform satisfactorily. There are one or two detail criticisms which will come through on a later report. There is no likelihood of any serious snag! At present the car is being used as a chassis. We shall receive the body at the end of this week. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
