FRONT AXLE CONTROL FOR 20/25 HP.

We are likely to be in the position of delivering Phantom ll cars, Peregrine cars, and Bensport cars with axle control, but this will not be fitted to the 20/25.

We have a scheme to apply the axle control to the 20/25. Most of the pieces are the same as used on J.3. We have, of course, J.3 running about with axle control. We therefore recommend that future 20/25 HP. material should be ordered so that axle control can be fitted. We consider the tests carried out on the Phantom, Peregrine, and J.3 are sufficient to cover us for taking this risk on the 20/25.

We have already had to abandon the ribbed cast iron brake drums on the 20/25 because we ran into front brake jeckers owing to us having no axle control.

We therefore propose sending around a Standardisation Sheet for this feature.
