Re: R.F. Summers Esq.,

As I believe you are aware the above tried the demonstration Park Ward Saloon over the Easter vacation. I am attaching a copy of his letter of yesterday's date, and a table of comparisons between this car and his present car B.58 GA which I hope you will find of interest. It is very gratifying to know that he enumerates five definite improvements and that we do not agree with him re his draw-back No.1 - definitely inferior acceleration, as I think the third gear performance compares very favourably with the top gear of B.58 GA and also he has to bear in mind that the demonstration car is a larger body with extra wind resistance - spare wheel being carried on the side. Actually the comparative weights being:-

B.2. MR. ....34 cwt 1 qrt 7lbs.

B.58. GA ....32 cwt 3 qrts 5lbs.

If you have any points you would like me to raise with him, perhaps you would kindly let me know. On the other hand, as you know him so well, you might like to write direct, but knowing R.F. Summers as we do, I think we must be satisfied with such a moderate letter in such moderate terms.
