Description of Parts: FIXING OF SPRING IN AIR VALVE.
Origin: To improve reliability.

Experimental Test Report.
It is propose to revert to the original fixing of the spring in the air valve to the top cover by means of a screw. The present arrangement of pushing the top coils into a recess is not reliable.

Road Test Report.
Fitted to 10-G-111 - run 12000 miles.
Fitted to 10-EX - run 800 miles.
A similar scheme was fitted to all Silver Ghost cars.

Right side box:
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
