BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X8410 DAL/M13.10.27. EAC.14 REAR SPRING CENTRE TRUNNION. X. 8410 X. 8420 Herewith we send N.sch.2479 shewing the slight modification to the bolt through the centre of the rear spring trunnion to give clearance for the new position of the hand brake rope. We have considered that though it does not matter much if the foot brake hooks up, it would be rather risky to have the more rigid hand brake do so. The position of the foot brake however as shewn on this drg. is we make out rather better than that now existing. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
