CHASSIS 82-LC. SIR JOHN LATTA.
CHASSIS 8-EX. EXPERIMENTAL CAR.
LONDON TRIALS CAR.

STAMP: 20 OCT 1927

In accordance with Hq/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/Lcl.10.27, will you kindly instruct for the following Springs:-

F.10572 Rear Road Spring 2200 lbs. (3 off.) STIFFER TYPE.
F.10573 " " " 2300 " (3 " ) "

to be taken from Stock and returned to the Makers' to have the Free Camber altered from 1.900 to 1.400 (Positive). These Springs should be stamped with the following Piece Nos:-

2200 lbs. - F.77744.
2300 lbs. - F.77745.

This matter is extremely urgent and when the Springs are delivered they should be handed over to the Experimental Dept. for testing.

Will RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} please note that when fitting these springs to the above chassis, the thickness of the Rubber Buffer must be reduced by .500.
