January 9th. 1929.

We have received your letter Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG.3/I/29. It is only a week ago that I answered a similar request re 12-EX. I have no definite knowledge of what became of the Touring Acquit of 12-EX. I never had this in my possession and never saw it. The General Transport people at Boulogne dealt with the whole matter and did not give me any papers when the car was shipped aboard. I am writing to HK{Col. T. Harker - Sales} in the same strain.

We are sending you, [REDACTED], 7 copies of the 5000 miles report. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} has not as yet arrived here, we have had a telegram saying that he will arrive on Thursday the 10th. We shall have finished our mileage with the 20-HP to-day. We shall start investigating to-morrow.

G.W.H.
