Bentley V Chassis.

Servo Motor & Mechanism - Sec.6180.

Linings Produced in Vandervell Bi-Metal.

Please receive herewith blueprints of each of the following :-

RG.{Mr Rowledge}1923 Driving Plate, 1 Off.
RG.{Mr Rowledge}1924 Friction Lining, 4 "

The above parts have been produced due to the decision to experiment with Vandervell Bi-metal linings for the Bentley V.{VIENNA} Servo. The material is not available in the required size and it is intended to produce segments from an existing clutch lining.

It will be noted that RG.{Mr Rowledge}1923 is made from GB.4588 having ten new holes drilled and using two of the existing holes.

The following parts will be required for use with the above.

No.7 Semi-Tubular Rivets, 5/16" x .260" x .031" Tinmans Head 12 Off.

The above replace the old parts as follows :-

RG.{Mr Rowledge}1923 replaces GB.4588 RG.{Mr Rowledge}1924 replaces GB.4586.

This completes the instructions for the above.

Kindly instruct up as required.

RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.
