To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}

re Customers Running B-V.{VIENNA} Chassis in Wartime.

I have ascertained from C. that the particulars of the two cars are as follows :-

B-18-AW. Standard Saloon. Steel. Painted Black; fawn leather
B-24-AW. Wood and aluminium body. Saloon. Painted Maroon; Maroon leather.

He says it will take 7 to 10 days to prepare either of them ready for delivery.

I understand you will now get in touch with Wilmot Breeden to see if he will buy one of them, and when we know about this for certain, and which one he selects, we will try and find somebody else for the other one.

Whilst one is an all-steel body and the other is not, they are both the same design and it might be inadvisable to mention the question of steel or otherwise. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
