To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X1113 Levallois, September 30th, 1936. Bentley Complaints. B-134-EF. A Bentley came in last night with five cylinders firing. Upon dismantling the cylinder head No.6 exhaust valve was found to have burnt and a hole approx. 1/8" dia. was the result. This car has run 16,000 KMS. and has been driven fast, probably the valve lost clearance which caused the burning. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/G.W.Hancock. | ||
