Thanks for BY.1/G.31.1.34. It rather reads as if you had taken my former memo. as an attack, whereas it was certainly not meant to be one.

I realise that we are doing the work we do on springs for very good reasons and that springing complaints have dropped to a negligible quantity during the last 2 years or so.

At the same time from the point of view mentioned in my former letter I thought it would be interesting to have a look to see how other people get their results.
