We must always bear in mind the fact that we have eliminated spring failure completely which some years ago was so high as to mean that 50% of our springs were replaced due to breakages, and invariably at our cost. Our experiences with Woodheads on the Bentley have confirmed that we are obtaining value for money from Firths, and that Woodhead's contention that they could produce as good a spring cheaper has proved to be a fallacy.
