Coverley - Production Engineer} ------------------- F.{Mr Friese} DODD. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III - RE FRONT WING. ------------------------ We send herewith a blue print of LeC 4555 which shows the front wing which we are standardising on the first SpectreCodename for Phantom III cars, Nos.4,5 and 6, and the eight Show Cars. Wings for these cars are being produced by hand by Messrs. Park Ward & Co., but it is hoped that we may supply front wings as standard with the introduction of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III chassis, and we thought you would like to take an early opportunity of investigating the problem of obtaining these wings from some firm that specialises in this kind of work. It has occurred to us that should it be found impracticable to obtain these wings as pressings it might be possible to obtain them from a firm of Panel Beaters who would use some form of lead faced wooden beating dies.
