In reply to your memo Snl/DL1215, Mr Haldenby does not agree to the work being charged to our department for putting the car in good order because we did not ask the Test Dept. to do this neither did we require any work doing, we wanted the car exactly as it was. Any work which they did was merely to clean the car up as would naturally be done periodically during the ordinary routine, and therefore we do not think that the cost of same should be charged to the Exp.
