W/P - Sr. x1245 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}12/KW.23.3.36. Replying to Sr.21/Dn.12.3.36. We have not acquired the rights to manufacture the Romac tyre pump under licence. We think, however, that it is a very good pump. With regard to the Phantom Continental owner who wants an air silencer, if this gentleman has got the old type carburetter he ought not to need an air silencer. If he has got one of the semi-expanding tyre carburetters then he ought to have an air silencer to fit it. His request therefore somewhat mystifies us. I was most interested to get Faroux's comments on the race. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
