Requirement for various nuts and bolts for the Goshawk II front and rear springs.

FRONT AND REAR SPRINGS - GOSHAWK II

Please note that we shall require the undermentioned Nuts and Bolts from you for the Goshawk II Springs, required for Experimental Department, as detailed in notes EY/HEB{H. Biraben}4/W131021 and EY/HEB{H. Biraben}3/W131021:-

4 Bolts F.50635.
4 " F.50672.
4 " F.50636.
4 " F.50673.
8 Lock: Nuts. K.4316.
8 " " K.4313.

With regard to the bolts all of these should be made 1/2" longer than the drawing on the screwed portion.

Will you please arrange for these items to be sent into the Despatch Stores to await Order Office instructions, as quickly as possible, so that Messrs. Woodhead's may not be delayed in the production of the springs which we have on order.

In addition to the above items a further 4 bolts F.50672 for Front Springs F.50596 should be put in hand as two sets of front springs will be delivered with temporary bolts owing to the four originally supplied by us being short. These 4 have been returned by Woodhead's, and we are handing them over to Mr Coverley.
