X8370 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.A.C.II. SERVO RIVE. We have now issued definite instructions for material etc. on the EAC.II strengthened drive with modified ratios to overcome the rattling and noise trouble on the servo gear. As you are aware, for EAC.III we are going ahead with the old type, but there was some idea in your mind when we discussed together that when EAC.II was launched you would then prefer the new mechanism. If you are still of this opinion, I would put the matter in hand so as to have 100 sets of material of this type going through, as we have issued instructions generally speaking for 100 sets of material which is peculiar to EAC.II.
